Giorgos Sigas is an AI and Machine Learning Engineer with an MSc in Informatics from the Technical University of Munich and a BSc in Computer Science from the Athens University of Economics and Business. Since May 2025, he has been working as an AI Engineer at Politis Group, developing applied AI solutions for business use cases. He has professional experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and software engineering through roles at BMW, ZEISS and IBM, where he contributed to AI-focused and software development projects in international environments. His background combines academic research with hands-on industry work across multiple organizations and collaborative teams. Additionally he participated and won the first prize of last year’s AI Hackathon (2025).
